4.BONES CERAMIC SUPER REDS
The definition of Bones Ceramic Super Reds is simple: take the steel balls in the Super Reds, replace them with hard ceramic ones, and you have Ceramic Super Reds. The advantage of Ceramic Super Reds is not only that they are lighter, the excellent self-lubricating properties of ceramics make them faster than traditional bearings even when there is no lubricating oil, and because the ceramic beads are harder than dirt such as sand and mud, when the dirt enters When inside the bearing, the ceramic beads crush them, giving the bearing excellent self-cleaning properties. 5.BONES SWISS CERAMICS
Hybrid ceramic bearings may be less common, and the main configuration of hybrid ceramic bearings is a combination of inner and outer ring bearing steel/stainless steel + ceramic balls + PA66/stainless steel cage + 2RS/ZZ. Hybrid ceramic bearings have the following four advantages during use.
(1) High temperature resistance, the thermal expansion coefficient of the ceramic ball is small, and the bearing ball will not expand due to the temperature in the high temperature environment, which greatly improves the service temperature of the entire bearing. The temperature of the ordinary bearing is about 160 degrees, and the ceramic ball can above 220 degrees.
(2) High rotational speed, ceramic balls have oil-free self-lubricating properties, and ceramic balls have a small friction coefficient, so ceramic ball bearings have a high rotational speed. According to statistics, bearings using ceramic balls are more than 1.5 times the rotational speed of ordinary bearings.
(3) Long service life, the ceramic ball can be free of any grease, that is to say, even if the grease is dried, the bearing can still operate, which avoids the occurrence of premature bearing damage caused by the drying of grease in ordinary bearings. According to our test As well as some customer feedback, the service life of bearings after using ceramic balls is 2-3 times that of ordinary bearings.
(4) Insulation, the use of ceramic ball bearings can insulate the inner and outer rings of the bearing, because ceramic balls are insulators, and the use of ceramic balls between the inner and outer rings of the bearing can achieve the effect of insulation. In this way, the bearing can be used in a conductive environment. This is also the biggest advantage of hybrid ceramic bearings.
